Private Pay System™

A Marketing Decision System for Therapy Practices
at a Private-Pay Turning Point

The Private Pay System™ (PPS) is a time-bound advisory process that helps therapy practices make clear decisions about private pay.

This isn’t marketing execution and it’s not ongoing coaching. It’s structured decision work.

We focus on positioning, pricing confidence, and visibility choices, so you’re not guessing, reacting, or building the wrong things too early (or too late).

This is marketing strategy work, focused on decisions and direction, not execution.

PPS is designed for practices that are at a real decision point, not just exploring ideas.

Most practices come to this work because something feels off.

They’re getting inquiries, but not the right ones. Pricing feels harder to hold. Visibility feels noisy or inconsistent. Or they’re early enough that they don’t want to lock themselves
into the wrong systems too soon.

PPS exists to create clarity before more effort, more marketing, or more complexity is added.

Who PPS Is For

PPS is a fit for clinicians and practice owners who:

  • Are building or refining a private-pay, boutique, or concierge-leaning practice

  • Feel stuck between “doing more” and “doing the right thing”

  • Want more aligned inquiries instead of more volume

  • Care about sustainability, not growth at any cost

  • Are ready to make decisions and stand behind them

This is not for practices looking for step-by-step marketing instructions or done-for-you execution.

What PPS Helps You Decide

These are the decisions that shape how inquiries come in, how pricing is perceived,
and how sustainable the practice feels day to day.

PPS helps you get clear on things like:

  • Who your practice is actually built for

  • What you want to be chosen for (beyond diagnoses or modalities)

  • How pricing and expectations are set before someone reaches out

  • Which visibility channels are worth your energy, and which aren’t

  • What to stop doing so the system can actually work

By the end of the work, decisions are made. Not debated. Not revisited every few months.

How the System Is Structured

This work typically happens before execution or alongside early refinement,
not after a full marketing build-out.

PPS is a finite engagement with a clear start and finish.

  • A defined number of sessions

  • A diagnostic phase

  • A decision-making phase

  • A final lock-in phase

There’s no ongoing support built in. Once decisions are made, ownership stays with you.

What PPS Is Not

To keep the work focused, PPS does not include:

  • Marketing implementation or done-for-you services (e.g., content production, campaign execution, or asset build-outs)

  • Ongoing coaching or accountability

  • Content creation or content calendars

  • Funnels, ads, or email marketing strategy

If execution support makes sense later, that’s a separate conversation. It’s never assumed.

What Clients Usually Walk Away With

By the end of the engagement, clients typically have:

  • A clear positioning stance they can articulate consistently (who the practice is for, and who it is not)

  • Clear alignment between pricing, positioning, and client expectations—so inquiries come in with fewer surprises

  • Clear guidance on which marketing channels to prioritize—and which to stop investing in

  • A grounded rationale for visibility choices (why Google, referrals, directories, or content matter for their practice)

  • Reduced second-guessing around marketing decisions already made, and lower risk of overspending on tactics, tools, or channels that don’t support private-pay goals

The result is a practice that feels more intentional, steadier to run, and easier to explain to the right people, without chasing every new tactic.

Engagement Parameters

PPS is offered selectively and on a limited basis.

Investment reflects senior-level advisory work. Details are discussed only after we confirm fit.

The First Step

The first step is an Initial Consultation.

This is a discovery conversation to see whether PPS fits your practice and whether the timing and decision context are right.

PPS is only offered when there’s clear alignment.
